Ridin' on the world's largest!

Sunday, 25 October 2009

Kylie, Angele and I went to take our first ride on the world's largest observation wheel - Singapore Flyer... finally after its opening in April 2008. So that's like 1.5 years ago.... Anyway our tickets are free-of-charge from our company's dinner and dance event last year and they're gonna expire end of this month, so why not go now?!

We met up at Cityhall and we were waitin' to board the shuttle bus to the Flyer but it wasn't anywhere at sight even tho all the other shuttle buses (SIA Hop-on, Great World City shuttle bus, Suntec City shuttle bus, etc) already came and left. Took some photos at the bus stop while waitin'....

The bus took ages to come... Anyway we didn't wanna wait any longer so we went there by foot. Good exercise indeed... It made us perspire tho it was evening time. Humid SG weather.......

Caught some nice shots of SG's scenery.

Our "durian", Esplanade.

Marina Bay Sands resort in the making

Kylie saw some jumping fish in the water... hmmmm.

Esplanade Waterfront

Pan Pacific, Mandarin Oriental, Ritz Carlton.
Big hotels in Marina~

Flyer, here we are!!

Damn shiok, next time I wanna book one.

Cute caucasian boy!

Overlookin' the Benjamin Sheares bridge (ECP highway)

Me in the capsule ;))

Night view of the Esplanade... I like this shot a lot.

Conrad Centennial Singapore,
used to be where I worked during attachment

Half an hour just passed like that while in mid air... Saw all lightings from below but it was a good experience. Next time I will try the ride in the evening when the sun sets....

We went to redeem (actually it's BUY, at SGD 18 for one piece omg) our photo from the counter. And then, I saw something that gave me a shock for 2 seconds.

Thanks dude for posin' for me. We will return to find out your true identity without that horrible mask!!!

Time for dinner... After the ride I was hungry and throughout the day I was exceptionally thirsty and I had no clue why...

Their coleslaw and chicken are much better than KFC's.... yums!!!

Awaitin' our next outing - Halloween at Night Safari this comin' Saturday night... woohooo!!!

Wassup on 24 Oct?

Saturday, 24 October 2009

This is the final Saturday duty for me for the month of October... And this coming Saturday is scheduled to be a relaxing weekend for me and then here come ma holiday trips on the next two consecutive weekends... Hooray!!!!!

After work I thought of droppin' by Etude House at Plaza Singapura to get ma cleansing oil... I knew that Lee Min Ho would be in the mall for an event but I didn't think he would be inside the boutique. So, when I arrived there, I saw the escalator super congested with people.... Human traffic jam, I would call it. I followed the crowd down the escalator and I saw even more people on Basement 1. And there was also a big crowd on Basement 2.... Omg. Damn serious jam....

From the 2 pictures above, you can really see how crowded it was, and your eyes are not playin' tricks on you. I swear it was as squeezy as the Christmas countdown parties at Orchard Road every year.

I spotted a Korean cutie among
the crowd there. Hahahahaha...

I waited and waited for Lee Min Ho to appear. An hour and a half passed and he was still not here. Girls were screamin' so we thought he had arrived but nah! Don't even know what the hell they were screamin' for... Then suddenly the security guys shouted that the event had been cancelled by the police and they asked us to leave. Well, I guess it was soooo crowded that it would have become dangerous for Lee Min Ho if he were to appear. Crazy fans would go pushin' and squeezin' and might even end up steppin' on one another... -___-!!!

After waitin' for a little while more, I left without gettin' ma cleansing oil still.

Rushed ma way to the world's best airport (our Singapore Changi Airport of course) to meet up with Mel and Ken at Terminal 1. They were studyin' at Popeyes.

Mel so engrossed in his work.

As usual, the 3 of us were full of laughter because we were teasin' one another. Actually, it's more of me and Mel teasin' Ken. Best partners indeed!

Relaxed there for awhile and then they decided to bring me to the SIA clubhouse at Terminal 2. Along the way at the carpark, we spotted a Ferrari.

It's the honour of the Ferrari to take a photo wimme.

It's Mel's honour to take a photo with the Ferrari.

(Ok this time I'm not commentin' on Mel's pose in the photo ;X )

Shortly we arrived at the SIA clubhouse. Ma first time there so I was kinda excited!

Seems like Tom, Dick and Harry and any chap balang person can enter the clubhouse for a meal or a workout at the gym or for some badminton/tennis/billiard.... Hmmmm. But anyway the food there is quite cheap, and not bad. Another time soon, please!

We proceeded to McDonald's as they wanted to continue doin' their work/studying. So, there I was hoggin' on ma own netbook, chattin' online and updatin' ma blog. Mel kept talkin' damn loudly some explicit stuff and attracted stares from the next table, and I was like "SHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" and then we would laugh very loudly hahahaha. Can't stand him....

Mel, stop corruptin' ma pure mind ok!!!! *Punch*

We took the skytram to Terminal 3 as the guys wanted to look at luggage at the Samsonite shop there....

Feeling-feeling like we're flyin' to another country lol

Once we reached Terminal 3, I suggested explorin' its Crowne Plaza hotel since I hadn't gone in before.

This reminded me of the photo I took at Crowne Plaza Hotel
in KL during ma work trip in 2007

The sofa we were seated on looks like cut papaya
with its black seeds (the cushion I was huggin')

Mel said we look like a couple. HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!! You must be crazy.... too much sp*** clogged your brain uh!

We walked towards this gigantic fan and we told Ken, "If you clap at it, it will turn towards you." (This is true!) So, he tried clappin' like maybe twice but it didn't seem to work. We forced him to clap harder and louder but he was so shy, he was afraid everyone would look at him like one kind. But that was our intention anyway, wahahaha.

Headin' back to Terminal 2 via the travellator....

I love this pic as Ken's face is blocked. HAHAHAA........

Our last stop before returnin' home was Yakun Kaya Toast where we had some drinks and slices of bread with butter and kaya. Apparently, 2 men queuein' at the counter and orderin' food caught our attention. Not that I fancy them, but the way they dressed and looked was really damn g-a-y. As we continued lookin', we came to realise one of them had a wife and kids. And the other guy I'm not sure if he is straight or gay. But he wore a tight-fitting white shirt and white pants, with red Dolce & Gabbana belt and red Dolce & Gabbana shoes. OMG bloody rich.... D&G on his body. Mel was so high lookin' at his firm butt...... LOL.

And recently, I saw a guy drivin' a convertible and he resembled the D&G guy at the airport!!! Don't know if that's indeed him.....

Ohhhh I wanna go to the airport with you guys again real soon.... faster faster!
