Just last morning I received a surprise call from Resorts World at Sentosa!!!!
First question the lady asked: What's your height?
Ma answer: 157cm, around there.
Second question she asked: Do you have any color vision problem?
I was thinkin' how come a hotel job would have concern about color vision problem. I answered No.
Then I asked her, "Is height a concern?" She said yes and then I asked her for the minimum height requirement, she said 158cm. I was like "But 157cm it's just lack 1 cm right?" She replied, "Yes, short 1 cm. We will reconsider your application and if we find you suitable, we will get back to you." Then we hung up.
Shortly about 5 minutes later, she called back.
And she told me she would like to invite me for an interview!! Omg........... that's like the greatest surprise ever. Never thought I would actually be shortlisted for interview after such a long time.
Seriously I couldn't even remember what job I applied the other time because it was more than a month ago thingy. Then in the day I went online to check out the careers page on their corporate website and it's actually Guest Services Ambassador for the casino..... No wonder they asked about ma color vision!
They are probably afraid I will tell guests yellow chip is $10 and green chip is $1,000 but actually yellow chip is $1,000 and green chip is $10. Then later the guest wanna bet with $10 but end up usin' the $1,000 chip.
Steady lah like that. Hahahaha~
The venue of interview is at ma old house there. Damn lucky me! At least I know the way around, won't waste time losin' ma way.
Gotta zap ma certs and take passport-sized photos tomorrow for the interview....
