New Year's Eve 2009.... Not a relaxing one.

~ Updating at the desk of ma office right now ~

Few days back, I learned that I have been selected to go for a roadshow on New Year's Eve. And I'm actually the first one in ma batch (it's the last batch in ma department) to be asked to go for roadshow. Ok, this I can take. Then yesterday ma 'seniors' came to congratulate me and told me to check ma mail. Sadly, I'm involved in an exercise that will determine whether the whole team can get the special licence or not. This means, I'm officially chosen to be part of the team that represents the whole dept. Don't know whether to feel unfortunate or honoured.

So today I went for a dry run at the room with the rest. Luckily, nothing bad happened to me. Smooth sailing. I guess I had been worryin' too much last night and this morning. Lol. Anyway comin' Tuesday is the real thing but I'm put on stand-by with ma other batch-mate coz we are too new. HENG AH.....

Goin' for ma roadshow later in the evening till 8pm. Then dinner with ma colleagues and hopefully we're able to stay out till 12mn as it's the end of 2009!!!

And tomorrow we will be headin' to Kuala Lumpur for a 3day 2night getaway. Nice!

Happy New Year to everyone in advance!~

Another week has passed....

In a slowwww blink of the eye it's Friday again. Thank goodness I could survive till now... hahaha well actually it ain't that bad. Majority of ma colleagues is nice, and I mean majority. Humbleness is the key.

Past few days were intensive training conducted by the earlier batches for the newest people includin' me. But sorry to say, that wasn't too effective. I think only yesterday's and today's training is far better. Simply because of the method of 'grilling'. Oh, and one more point: impatience will have no positive outcome.

Yesterday and today I got to play games in the mock-up room. Yesterday I played 3 Picture, and today I played Tai Sai and Money Wheel. Even as I was merely watchin' ma colleagues playin' Pontoon at the table, I was very 'high' too. I think I, from a Recreational gambler, will transform into an At Risk gambler. Hopefully I don't and won't become a Pathological gambler i.e. problem gambler. ;p

After gaming in the mock-up room, we went back to our office for some photo-taking to prepare a scrapbook for our Director as a gift. :))

This is just one of the many photos to be put in the scrapbook. Everyone has to do their own page and then they will all be consolidated. Well, this is ma homework over the weekend.... lalalaa.

Happy weekends everyone!

Drivin' up North

Last weekend I travelled to KL, Genting and Melaka (in case some readers don't know where they are, it's actually Malaysia) on a 2-day trip with Melvin, Ken, WC and Hanrong. They rented a car and decided to drive up towards the North for some new adventure.

5 December

Album: Day 1

We met up early morning at around 5am and they picked me up the last. From ma house we drove to Tuas checkpoint and fortunately there wasn't much of a congestion. Ken was the one drivin' and he actually dozed off while on the wheels!!! Luckily nothing happened to us! When we reached KL, it was Mel's turn to drive up to Genting Highlands. Drove via Kuantan and reached there around 11am. We toured around Genting first... Wanted to go to the theme park but it was so cloudy and foggy, we decided to play in the casino.

As usual I played ma jackpot. First machine that I played made me lose 30 or 40 Ringgit. Second machine won me around 25 Ringgit lol. And I almost fell asleep while playin' coz all I had to do was press the button. It was only when I had free spins then I turned awake hahaha.

Happily withdrew ma winnings from the cash machine then we went to check in to our hotel. We dropped at the wrong location but I managed to take some nice photos while the guys went to check with the security booth. Finally we found our hotel after some rounds of driving.

The front office agent also cannot make it. After she checked us in, she didn't tell us where to take the elevator. No signage. Towel and toiletries also gotta pay money to buy. Room's water heater was also not functionin' properly. But anyway the room was cheap so forget it.

We went down to KL, this time Ken was the one controllin' the steering wheel. Omg the way he drove really made me dizzy. And made Hanrong puke. Fortunately I did ma usual - sleeping, so I didn't puke or anything. Oh, and we got horned by other motorists on the road. All Ken's fault. Hahahahaha.

First destination: Berjaya Times Square. Went round and round then reached the building. Wanted to play the roller coaster but all of us were already feelin' unwell after the ride so we didn't go for it. Had our dinner at some Penang cuisine restaurant. The staff don't understand English well, obviously.

Then we walked over to Bukit Bintang area. Bought ma contact lens. After that, I bought 3 pairs of shoes, all in less than an hour. Power daoooo!

The night is still young, furthermore it was Saturday night. So we went clubbing at Zouk! On the way there, there was a massive traffic jam and we reached there like an hour later I think. Super long.

There was one idiotic guy on the dancefloor who kept dancin' and kickin' his legs and pushin' us almost outta the dancefloor. So I danced with bigger movement and pushed him lol. Wanna dance then just dance on that spot, don't move around and affect other people's mood... -______-!!!!

WC drove us back to Genting. I fell asleep in the car and woke up, and for a moment I thought we were in the underground tunnel coz of the orange lighting. But in fact we were halfway uphill and I must say that it's DAMN dangerous when drivin' uphill at night. The mist of the cloud was really heavy and we couldn't see anything on the road at all. Even the orange lights from the lamp posts weren't helpin'. Fortunately we could make it back to the hotel without any mishap....

6 December

Album: Day 2

Woke up and explored the surroundings of the hotel. Took nice photos of the pagoda and the big Buddha sculptures and many more. After that, we left the hotel and stopped at this rest point for lunch. Ate nasi goreng... oooo nice but abit oily. After that, we went back to our car and Mel wanted to take something from the boot. I was with him and then we got into the car and moved off.

JUST when we got onto the highway, we were horned by a car. We thought Ken didn't drive properly again. WC looked behind to see which car horned. In the end he saw the boot door was open. HAHAHAHA!!!! Then we told Ken to stop the car, Ken swerved the car to the side of the road as though we were gonna crash. Mel and I quickly got off the car to close the boot and then we drove off again. LOLOL all of us kept laughin' and laughin' nonstop. Damn bloody funny lah!! Somemore our car is the hatchback kind, everyone on the road was able to see our bags lOl. And we were lyin' to Ken that maybe his luggage fell out and rolled on the road coz when we closed the boot we didn't notice his luggage inside. Lol....

We travelled down to KL and proceeded to Suria KLCC. Another jam again, just like Bangkok. Horrid! I bought some office wear for ma new job and then we took photos near the pond outside the mall. It was already around 3pm so time to leave KL.

Decided to go to Melaka for awhile since we would pass by there on the highway. Ken almost fell asleep while drivin' again. Omg... should punish him! So we had our dinner over there. Food was so-so, not as good as what I ate at the rest stop earlier in the day. And that shopping mall sucked, it should close down! We should have gone more inside to the town...

It was around 8.30pm and we had to head back to Singapore.

Power trip!!! Thanks guys for the fun! Next time we shall organise this kinda trips again~

Can't stand McDonald's Delivery telephone operator.

11 Dec, 9.10pm

*Operator laughin' in the background as he picked up the call*

Me: I want one McChicken burger.

He: Meal?

Me: No, just the burger.

He: Ok, that's all?

Me: No, I also want 2 apple pies.

He: Ok... so you want McSpicy burger~

Me: No, McChicken.

He: Ok. You want 2 McChicken burgers?

Me: ONE!

*Silence for awhile*

He: Sorry~~~

Me: It's ok... *rolled ma eyes*

Stupid idiot don't know how to pay attention on the phone.

Thank God It's Saturday

Ooooo! Wednesday was the first official day of ma training. I felt the pressure already as we had to memorise some standard script to be narrated to our guests at work. And it's like suuuuper long kind. A total of 9 lines in the script?? Gosh!!! Luckily I already got it drilled into ma brain on that day itself... And other than this there are also other scripts to be memorised. Haix don't know how ma brain is gonna absorb everything man. I think it works better only when I keep repeatin' in real life situation.

Thursday and yesterday were even worse than Wednesday. These 2 days we had a training conducted by our Director. Best lah... roleplay, roleplay and roleplay. Yesterday we had a mock exercise. I think it's fun to roleplay with other people whom you know or don't know, unlike havin' to do it with or in front of your Director, which is like totally stressful and scary coz you're bound to make mistakes when you're nervous. ;\\

Ma group presentin'

Everyone voted YES for every group lol...

Oh and I like to go out for lunch with ma colleagues. Especially when they're drivin'. Haha. On Thursday we walked out to a coffee shop for lunch. Yesterday we travelled to a hawker centre nearby and I had Nasi Lemak at only 2 bucks and sugar cane juice at only 1 buck. Next time when we go back there again, I will try the century egg congee. ;pp

Today I'm goin' to JB with some of ma colleagues for some shopping and seafood dinner. Woohooo! Shuang daoooo...

8 Dec - Second and last day of induction

Through this 2-day corporate induction I learned a lot of things about the company etc. But most importantly I think I made a hell lot of friends there, no matter they are in the Rooms side or F&B or whatsoever.

The saddest thing is that 2 days is simply too short. Just when I have gotten along pretty well with the others, we have to part. Especially those few peeps who are in the same department as me... coz we are in different teams therefore we have to be separated. ;(( I will miss them!!!

And also the peeps who were in the same group as me. Group 6 rocks!

At the end of the induction, we had to play a game and no mistake was allowed in the process if not we would have to start all over again. We had to restart damn alot of times and from this we could see who wanted to be in control, who wasn't happy with whom, so on and so forth. We thought we couldn't go home until very late! But fortunately we finished it in an hour... Phewww!

Our trainer for the induction

Completed the game finally~~~

After the induction was over, I waited for the Assistant Manager together with two other batch mates to come and 'claim' us coz she was nowhere to be seen while the other department had already gathered with their AM. Our AM came and brought us to meet our other colleagues.

And then the day ended. Damn tired man.... I fell asleep on the bus and fell asleep at ma netbook at night too. But it was worthwhile... had so much fun during this induction!

"A million moments. One world."

First day, new start

Extremely excited today as this day marks the commencement of ma new job in a totally new environment. :))

Had a corporate induction today that lasted for 9 hours including 2 tea breaks and a lunch break. The first game we played required findin' minimum 5 persons who fit the descriptions stated on the handout and there would be only 3 winners. These winners, when announced, would have to call the names on their handouts. So apparently one of the winners' names was called out and I stoned for awhile. And then I was like, "Shit. I think she wrote ma name."

And yah I had to get outta ma seat and start introducin' ma'self in front of some 150 participants. Omg... luckily I didn't get tongue-tied or whatsoever. Yeah first day already high profile huh.....

The manager givin' the talk on security at work is damn hyper lah... And he kept shoutin' into the mic... The guy beside me went "Ok here he goes again..." and both of us kept gigglin' until everyone was like tellin' me during break time, "Hey you kept laughin' non-stop huh just now!!!" Couldn't control coz that guy's laughter was also very contagious... hahaha.

Well, it was not bad lah, at least I got to know quite some people though they aren't workin' in the same division as me. Most are in the Rooms division... and only a few are in ma division. Exchanged contact numbers with them, and I will be meetin' ma colleagues tomorrow morning and go to the office together!

Can't wait to see what happens at the induction tomorrow...

Last day at Kaplan... 2 Dec

It was just yesterday...

It was ma last day at a workplace which I had been travellin' to and from, everyday for 2 years. 28 November 2007 to 2 December 2009.

It all started when I was a part-timer while still schooling... and then after I finished ma Bachelor studies, I converted to full-time and "succeeded" Xianli. Hahaa. Now, Czelyn is takin' over ma counter.

I remember when I was a part-timer and just started work there, I had to learn about 4 courses conducted in the school. That wasn't all. Enrolment for January 2008 intake started on 12 Dec 2007 and I was seated at Counter 3 which faces directly the long queue that resembled a snake. As per Patsy who is ma immediate supervisor, I received good comments from Rex, our big big boss. I was motivated and it kept me goin'.

Finally, I graduated on 29 Aug 2008 from RMIT University and I was contemplatin' whether to find a new job elsewhere or convert to full-time at Kaplan. In the end, I decided on the latter.

At that time, we were in the Yeong dynasty for not too long yet. Had a terribly hard time under him coz of his MCP-ness and sneaky behaviour and all. Totally frivolous. Finally after about a year, it was the fall of Yeong's empire and we were back to our normal, happy and more carefree life at work. Hoooray!

We fought many "battles" together at work during peak periods. Four times in a year, actually. We encountered many kinds of customers, good and bad, as well as "funny" students. And all of us had different funny stories to share with one another at the end of the day and would make us laugh like there's no tomorrow.

I still remember Mary suggestin' to me that I cut out a man on a piece of paper and hit it with ma shoe. And I really did it everytime I had a freaking irritating student. Hahahaha. There were 2 in that one single day and I hit with ma shoes and slippers. I wonder if it worked on them... ;x

In this company, I learned alot of things. I learned how to:

1. Buy 4D and TOTO almost every draw date in every single week, all thanks to the gambling queen, Mary;

2. Let out a super loud and impactful sigh at work everyday coz of the kind of students I was goin' to meet;

3. Fall asleep at ma counter everyday (as I had to work 8.30am shift throughout the entire week) even when there were students sittin' around, and even right before ma customers and with Patsy standin' beside me;

4. Walk right up to students to tell them not to lie down on the big round sofa/ put their legs up on the chair/ rest their feet on the glass table.

And I learned that there are many nice people at Kaplan who took care of me well. Simply too many.... you guys know who you are!!!

I'm gonna miss havin' lunch/dinner with ma fellow SROs.
I'm gonna miss singin' at work with Mary.
I'm gonna miss callin' "Bestieeeeee" everytime I see Jacq and winkin' and givin' flying kisses as though we've got something scandalous goin' on.
I'm gonna miss hearin' Patsy talkin' about her cats.
I'm gonna miss Mary badmouthin' her Luke. Hahahaa.
I'm gonna miss Mary chasin' after me everyday for her Hokkien songs.
I'm gonna miss "spreeing" with Kylie on her computer and hearin' her say she wanna buy everything on the spree site.
I'm gonna miss Angele talkin' about every single thing that happened at church and her activities.
I'm gonna miss hearin' Czelyn say "HAHHHH..." when something is not to her favour.
I'm gonna miss Lillian sayin' "Nothing" while still laughin' when I didn't catch what she said the first time.
I'm gonna miss Wilson and his lame jokes ;X
I'm gonna miss hearin' Rose say something that will end with a "ba".
I'm gonna miss shoutin' Jo's name across the reception area when she comes down to replenish brochures.
I'm gonna miss Haz messagin' me on MSN askin' if I wanted to lunchie with her at 12pm.
I'm gonna miss hearin' Elaine's super loud laughter (and imitatin' it hehehe).
I'm gonna miss tellin' Louis "Why you come down today? Today's not Friday, I don't wanna see you here!"
I'm gonna miss disturbin' Kylie with her Fish Lips, Lillian with her Sumo wrestler "boyfriend", Patsy with Sean Ho, Mary and her "blonde best friend".
I'm gonna miss all the cute Korean students.
I'm gonna miss those crappy things that David does everytime he's on Level 2.
I'm gonna miss gossipin' with everyone about everyone.
I'm gonna miss the happy times that I had with everyone at work.

It's been ma greatest honour to be able to work with you guys and to have all of you as ma most lovely colleagues.

Let's stay in touch and remember to include me in all of your outings!!!!! Love you all....

Korea trip 12-15 Nov

Too many photos to be posted here so readers may click on the links below to view the photos. :))

Day 1 - Dongdaemun, Dongdaemun Stadium, Myeongdong

Reached Incheon Airport early morning at around 6am, and then I dilly-dallyed in the airport searchin' for the booth to rent phones and then contacted ma Korean friends and went to take the bus to Dongdaemun. One nice uncle rendered his help to me (he is a Chinese and has lived in Korea for quite long) and we chatted on the bus till his destination. He wished me a happy birthday in advance :)))

Took a cab to ma hotel but I ended up havin' to alight at the main road and walk through the narrow road ma'self. Saw one uncle outside a shop and I asked him where ma hotel was, and he brought me there.

Wanted to check-in but they had no available room for me at the moment so I had to wait till 2pm. I went to take the subway to Dongdaemun and was searchin' high and low for the small restaurant in which I had ma first meal in Korea during ma previous trip with Xianli. Well, ma perseverance paid off! :)) Got to eat ma cheese ramyun once again lol...

Met up with Yeongkyeong at Dongdaemun Stadium subway station and we walked to ma hotel together. After puttin' down ma things in the room, we headed out to Dongdaemun Stadium where all the shopping malls are.

Shopped (bought 2 tops) and ate and then we proceeded to Myeongdong, ma top favourite spot in Seoul. Continued shopping and I bought one pair of boots, one bag, one cap and some cosmetics. We also bought a mango cake at Breadtalk and celebrated our birthdays together in Coffee Bean which is also ma favourite place there! The guys who were vendors asked Yeongkyeong if I'm a foreigner. Perhaps I spoke too much English... hahaha. Watched 2012 on the 10th floor in one of the shopping malls and then we called it a day.

Day 2 - Dongdaemun, Dongdaemun Stadium, Myeongdong

Woke up late!!!! Got outta the hotel only at around 3pm... and we proceeded to that small restaurant for lunch. This time I tried its mandoo (dumpling) ramyun... damn good also!!

We walked and walked and came to a point where we wanted to seek some warmth and have some coffee. So we went to a coffee shop on the second floor.. it was a cosy place to relax in. Loved it... :))

Time to go as I had to meet Amber. Bidded farewell to Yeongkyeong at the subway station and I was on ma way to Myeongdong alone. Met Amber at the exact same place as the first time we met in January this year... lol. Went to have dinner and then we walked around in Myeongdong. This time I bought 2 pairs of shoes at the same shop which I bought ma boots, and some souvenirs. We also ate tteokbokki and ice cream and took sticker photos together! Hahaa. Bought a bottle of Hoegaarden at a bar and we shared. Everyone else around us were drinkin' hot coffee but we were drinkin' beer... how ironic. Hahahaa..

Went back to ma hotel to put down our stuff and then we walked out to Dongdaemun Stadium. There was a bazaar so we went to take a look. Apparently there was this one time Amber was blockin' the way of a guy and I pulled her towards me. Then, there were some seconds of eye contact between me and the guy and I almost got electrocuted.. HAHAHA. He's quite cute lah, actually. ;x

We took this simulator ride in a box which is pretty new maybe. Just like the 4D Magix at Sentosa's Cineblast... damn good!

Finally at near 1am, we felt tired and super cold so we went back to sleep.

Day 3 - Cheongdam, Myeongdong, Hongdae

Woke up a bit late again. Sad case man, I'm such a sleepyhead. Anyway I thought of goin' to Jeju island that day but in the end ma friend there said something cropped up and told me not to go. Oh well... whatever! So I went out with Amber and we took the subway to Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu.

That day was exceptionally cold coz of the super strong wind blowin' us... omg. I thought that I should have worn more!! Didn't really expect that to come. Anyway, we were walkin' and I saw many nice apartments there. And nice sports cars. And posh restaurants and shops. Kinda different from what you will see in Dongdaemun and Myeongdong. I told ma'self that I am goin' to buy an apartment there when I have money. ;X

It was evening already and I thought that we should start lookin' for the Seven Luck casino. Kept walkin' but couldn't find it anywhere, so we reached a hotel and I approached the front office to enquire. Took a cab to Seven Luck casino and it looked really, really grand from outside! Omg finally I've been there (but not inside though)!!!

From Samseong subway station, we travelled back to Myeongdong and I did ma last minute shopping. To be runnin' outta budget is really a horrible feeling.. totally. I must make sure next time I save up ENOUGH money for any trip... Anyway! One vendor commented ma Korean is good... although I asked only "how much is this?" in Korean, hahaha!

For dinner, we had beef bulgogi with rice. Only 5,500 Won per bowl (which is like about 6 SGD). Yummylicious....!!!

After that, I didn't wanna go back so early as it was ma final night in Korea. Amber suggested Hongdae and we went there immediately! As usual, we were at this park where university students would perform their creations and there would be other students surroundin' them and movin' to the beat. Damn happening! And then we continued walkin' around.. in a blink of the eye it was around 11pm and we had to get goin'! If not we would miss the last train, and probably we would have to be stuck there for the night. No money to take cab lol.

Day 4 - Goin' home!

3 days passed so quickly... I didn't wanna go home yet!! But money ran out, better be a good girl and roll back home lah. Amber sent me off to the bus stop at Dongdaemun and then I was on ma way to the airport by ma'self. Used ma netbook at the airport and I got on the wireless internet. Chatted with Sungjoo on MSN. Bloody hell, he didn't tell me he was back in Seoul and therefore I didn't tell him I was in Seoul as well. Lol.... too bad!

Tok and Xiuhui picked me up at Changi Airport when I arrived in SG. Went to eat at Hong Kong C Nai Express at ECP... thanks peeps for pickin' me up yah~ Really appreciated it.

I miss Korea! I miss the cheese ramyun, gimbab, tteokbokki and rabokki..... Wanna go back again next year.

27 Nov - A date with ma ai ai

Met Fong ai ai at Cityhall and we proceeded to Suntec City as I wanted to do up ma new phone. Bought a casing and screen protectors for it... cost me 60 bucks in total. Worth it ;))

I'm a fan of red so I will surely choose red outta the 3 colors available - brown, red and silver.

Afterwhich, we went to dine at Waraku for dinner, believin' we could enjoy the 30% discount promotion since ai ai has the Waraku card.

Me and ma cream-based fresh prawns udon...

I love cream-based udon~~

Mushroom and Oysters wrapped with Bacon

This salmon fish is gooood.

And then, ai ai realised she didn't bring her Waraku card. Therefore, we gotta pay full fare. Lol..... funny. Waraku gave her two $2 "Apology vouchers". I don't think we need them coz they should give us 30% discount instead. ;p

Decided to go to Orchard Road since we still had a lot of time. Surprisingly, time passed reaaal slowly that night....

Tall Christmas tree in Ngee Ann City

We walked to ION and decided to chill out at Starbucks coffee. When we reached there, it was fully packed so we took away our coffee. Sat and relaxed outside the mall, lookin' at people and enjoyin' every sip. I love this life.

The arrival of ma new baby

It finally came on the 26th of November...

Angele also got a brown one and it also arrived at her house on the same day... hehee.

Wah.. now I'm reminded of the Singtel incident. Ordered the phone at its "promotion" price SGD 88. "Promotion" was supposed to end on 20 Nov. The next day being a Saturday, Angele checked the Singtelshop website again and the price, for the same mobile plan, was ZERO dollar.

I immediately called up to find out what it was all about. The first woman told me the promotion had not ended and the price would change every now and then. The second woman told me this zero-dollar promotion is a Saturday promotion, and that every Saturday they will have a promotion. Then I might as well wait for a few more days then go and order, then I wouldn't even have to pay a single cent.

I asked if I could cancel ma order and reorder it. She said there will be a cancellation charge of 30 bucks. Well, 30 bucks is cheaper than 88 bucks.

Anyway, she said she would get back to me to see if she can provide other solutions. Yeah, she called back like few hours later. Then she told me that they won't advise me to cancel as firstly there would be a cancellation fee, and secondly the cancellation process would take 2 to 3 working days and by the time, the zero-dollar promo might have ended. So they would, instead, waive off two months of ma monthly subscription fee which is actually more than the 88 bucks I had to pay for the handset. Hmmm... ok fair enough. At least Singtel is not that f***ed up...

Love ma phone! (Just that it can't read Korean characters and this sucks...)

Ma apologies!

Ok I just realised I haven't been blogging since ma SG Flyer outing that's like one month ago... Hehehe. I will update on the Halloween at Night Safari outing, Phuket and Korea trips, and also the birthday party for the November babies at work, soon. So stay tuned peeps!! :))

Ridin' on the world's largest!

Sunday, 25 October 2009

Kylie, Angele and I went to take our first ride on the world's largest observation wheel - Singapore Flyer... finally after its opening in April 2008. So that's like 1.5 years ago.... Anyway our tickets are free-of-charge from our company's dinner and dance event last year and they're gonna expire end of this month, so why not go now?!

We met up at Cityhall and we were waitin' to board the shuttle bus to the Flyer but it wasn't anywhere at sight even tho all the other shuttle buses (SIA Hop-on, Great World City shuttle bus, Suntec City shuttle bus, etc) already came and left. Took some photos at the bus stop while waitin'....

The bus took ages to come... Anyway we didn't wanna wait any longer so we went there by foot. Good exercise indeed... It made us perspire tho it was evening time. Humid SG weather.......

Caught some nice shots of SG's scenery.

Our "durian", Esplanade.

Marina Bay Sands resort in the making

Kylie saw some jumping fish in the water... hmmmm.

Esplanade Waterfront

Pan Pacific, Mandarin Oriental, Ritz Carlton.
Big hotels in Marina~

Flyer, here we are!!

Damn shiok, next time I wanna book one.

Cute caucasian boy!

Overlookin' the Benjamin Sheares bridge (ECP highway)

Me in the capsule ;))

Night view of the Esplanade... I like this shot a lot.

Conrad Centennial Singapore,
used to be where I worked during attachment

Half an hour just passed like that while in mid air... Saw all lightings from below but it was a good experience. Next time I will try the ride in the evening when the sun sets....

We went to redeem (actually it's BUY, at SGD 18 for one piece omg) our photo from the counter. And then, I saw something that gave me a shock for 2 seconds.

Thanks dude for posin' for me. We will return to find out your true identity without that horrible mask!!!

Time for dinner... After the ride I was hungry and throughout the day I was exceptionally thirsty and I had no clue why...

Their coleslaw and chicken are much better than KFC's.... yums!!!

Awaitin' our next outing - Halloween at Night Safari this comin' Saturday night... woohooo!!!
